Youth Resolution on Cities Without Slums - YouthResolution.pdf (133KB)

On June 15, 2006 30 youth from Vancouver and Victoria BC assembled at North Vancouver Community Centre to engage in a debate on human settlement and sustainability issues related to cities around the world. Using a UNA-Canada developed Research Guide, youth delegates researched and represented a total of 15 countries at the UN-Model Habitat Assembly and through vigorous debate, negotiation and compromise reached a resolution on establishing Cities Without Slums.
